Sukanya Krishnan
HostSukanya Krishnan is a 7-time Emmy Award winning television host and producer. Suki is no stranger to live broadcast content having anchored the morning news in NYC for nearly two decades chronicling some of the biggest local and national stories. Krishnan was also a trail blazer becoming the first South Asian to anchor news in the #1 market working at WCBS-TV, WPIX-TV, FOX5-NY and CBS NEWS. Sukanya is a mother of two, a native New Yorker and known to millions as “Suki!”
Sukanya is a tireless advocate lending her voice to NY Police and Fire Widows and Children’s Benefit fund and several 9-11 organizations. The broadcast on 9/11 which Krishnan was anchoring is featured in the September 11th memorial museum. In 2002 she was awarded her first Emmy award for this live coverage. Krishnan has also been honored by several media outlets: “City and State Magazine” named her a Woman of Distinction and ‘’Moves Magazine” has deemed Suki a Power Woman.
